Slayer and Lamb
In the graveyards of my heart
You stand, hunger remaining unsatisfied,
Searching for the burial site of my love-
Already dead due to your unquenchable thirst,
And you dig everything up, hoping to resurrect it
And continue to slurp the unliving life
Out of the remains because- love
Is undying- your crave will never be
Satisfied, but I will not
Let you unearth it’s body
Or find the marker to its site
Because your loveless and departed eyes
Do not deserve to drink in
What remains of my drained heart,
Vampire, since you slayed it’s innocence-
My little lamb.
